This little gem is the best place in town. Real home cooked food ,the most amazing creamed peas, fresh brewed sweet tea and a friendly stuff. We recently moved away from Keokuk but, every time we are back in town, we make it a point to stop at the Fort Worth. Order the special and grab a glass of sweet tea. You won't be disappointed!!!

Visiting in town and they bought brisket and it was the most tender brisket. and the bbq sauce was amazing. I love it. I don't live in this town but when I visit I will eat here again.

Very good bbq selections. Prices are very reasonable. The staff is friendly. Very nice decor. A western themed restaurant . Location is off the beaten path , but worth going to. They have a variety of daily specials. They also serve breakfast. They open early and close at 8pm.

This is some of the best smoked/bbq meat I've had at a restaurant. Certainly the best priced. I see so many people complain that its packed with locals, but that should be your first clue on how good this place is. I've been here 5 times. Mostly for lunch and once for supper. I've gotten something different each time and I haven't been let down yet.

The food here is amazing and so is the price! So glad we don't pay attention to the low star ratings.
